Ezra P. Standish is approximately thirty years old when the series (The Magnificent Seven) takes place (around 1870, but this is unclear.) He comes to the island after the events of the second season having been in the (fanon-named) town of Four Corners in the New Mexico Territory for nearly two years. This is the longest he has ever been in one place. Giving the year Ezra left as 1872.

He is slightly shorter than average at around 5'7" or 5'8". It's hard to say because of the slight heel on his boots. He has brown hair with a touch of auburn and green eyes. One of his front teeth is made of gold and flashes when he smiles: he dresses the part of a professional gambler, which he is. He speaks with a thick Southern accent that can't be pinned down to any specific location, although has the most in common with upper-class New Orleans. He is compact, well-muscled, agile, and strong for his size. He uses large words and has excellent manners most of the time.

[Yes, some of the weapons used in the series were not made until after the series ends, although no specific time period was mentioned for the show. Nathan's age was given as 27 and he was old enough to have been a stretcher-bearer during the war. No other character's age is known in canon.]
